The pinewood of the Island of the Dead gay beach, still devoid of tourist and uncontaminated settlements, was the ideal place for those who love tranquility and to have gay encounters far from prying eyes and without the anxiety of the crowd. In fact, along the beach there were many shady barracks, to have fun in intimacy. The free beach on the island of the Dead was divided into sections: there was the part dedicated to gay couples, the area for nudists and the one reserved for swingers.
