Punta Bianca is located between the two cities of Bocca di Magra and Montemarcello. More than a beach, this is a cliff, where nature has remained wild and pristine. This makes Punta Bianca an original and very popular location, both in summer and in winter. It takes its name from the white rocks, and is certainly one of the most beautiful places in this area.
How to get to the Punta Bianca beach in Ameglia? If you do not want to arrive by sea, by car you must take the road that leads from Bocca di Magra to Montemarcello, and shortly after you find the sign for the road and then the path that leads to Punta Bianca on the left. You need to park your car nearby, and get ready for a 30 minute walk on the dirt path. The walk will also show some memories of the Second World War, including the old gate of the military zone and some parts of an ancient track. Continuing the path, you will see the signs to reach Punta Bianca.
